In September, we found 52 new froyo-serving businesses in 24 countries, a significant decrease from the 67 new businesses serving froyo in 27 countries in August. The Philippines reclaimed the top spot, with eleven openings. Australia had the second most openings, with seven, and the United States was third with six openings.
As for the chain with the most openings, Yoajung, Pinkberry, and Llaollao had three openings each. Notable openings include Sour Sally’s first branch in the United Arab Emirates and Yoajung’s first branch in Singapore.
Sadly, we also found four froyo shop closings. One of these shops plans to move. The other three shops lost their leases.
